Some days I gotta read your mind
Those days are the very best kind
Cause then I’m not dwelling on mine
Those days are a waste of time
Those days are a waste of time
I can’t stop looking at my watch
I need you baby round the clock
I bet you’ve heard that one before
But you know what I am good for
You know what I am good for
I am thinking of you now
Tired on the west coast but you’re out
I bet that you are thinking too
But not of me there’s work to do
Not of me there’s work to do
I got it I got it I got it
I got you
I got it I got it I got it
I got you
I got it I got it I got it
I got you
I got it I got it I got it
I got you
Some days I gotta read your mind
Those days are the very best kind
Cause then I am not dwelling on mine
Those days are a waste of time
Those days are a waste of time
Those days are a waste of time
I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop

Alvvays has always been great, but with this album they took it to the next level. Every one of these songs is lodged in my brain now, permanently (in a good way). s. moxley
